Had 30th Anniversary dinner here last night. This has become our favorite restaurant in Aruba. Evert (owner) greeted us at the door as always. Had reservation and he gave us choice of tables. Seems we always pick same table and why change now. Had caprice salad and shrimp cocktail for appetizer. Both excellent. Shrimp cocktail with some of the biggest shrimp that I have seen. Very tasty sauce. Not traditional cocktail sauce. Wife had Veal Lemon. Came with pasta and veggies. All excellent. I had Osso Bucco. One of specials. Came with mashed potatoes and veggies. Superb. May be the best I ever had. After dinner Evert brought over a large plate with Happy 30th Anniversary in chocolate syrup, chocolate cake and ice cream. Perfect touch. 4 glasses of wine. Check was $133, no service charge. Not cheap but IMO may be best dinner on the island. Service was spot on.
