I'm having some red wine. Today was the third anniversary of Trixie crossing the Rainbow and Bridge and one of our shelter cats crossed the Rainbow Bridge this AM. Mr. Sparkle was older cat that we took in about six months ago. He was front declawed not in great health and left on the streets to fend for himself. We took him in and cared for him but his health deteriorated. Vet thinks he may have had lymphoma. He is at peace now.

We're doing Chinese take-out - beef and vegetables for George and I'm going to try chicken and eggplant.

Awwwww..... RIP Mr. Sparkle. :( He crossed the rainbow bridge knowing he was loved by all of you, Laura.

American chop suey for David. Shrimp and jalapeno coleslaw for me.

Still need to read about Charlie, glad he's doing okay today though!

Have to go to Scituate tomorrow for his sisters yankee swap in the sn*w, ughhhh
Cooked the pulled pork yesterday on my "sick" day, will heat it and pick up finger rolls tomorrow

Beef Stew in the crock pot all afternoon. Matthew and the neighbor kid just had a bowl. I had a small bowl w/ them and will likely have another small bowl when Mike gets home in an hour or so. HH will follow, once we're safe inside from the weather/bad roads.

Cheers all! Got home from work, cracked a beer and put fresh gas in the blower, pushed the primer 5 times, put the choke on and fired up on the first pull :D Love my Toro! It will handle 19-1/2" of white poo with no problem so tomorrows a cupcake storm. I'm going to make some scallops wrapped in bacon along with rice pilaf.

Mike did not have the same success as you. He's not a happy camper. It could need a tune up. Just had to buy a new washing machine so hope we don't need to replace this too. As a result the beers are flowing. Who am I kidding, the beers would be flowing if it started too.

I made a frozen pizza this afternoon. Good thing as the lights have been flickering. I am almost out of Lites so will have to dig into the seldom used cabinet tonight, and maybe tomorrow. We live atop a hill....
The is our deck as of 5:30 tonight:

Wow Tom...that's a lot of snew forGA. We had leftover chicken chili...I had a glass of red. Lots of white at Eagle beach today.... ...waves were NH coastline during a storm high! Went in the water once and that was a challenge...back to my calm quiet part of the island next beach day. Kat...i spent lots of time in Scituate MA summers growing up. My aunt had a lovely cottage there....Minot area. Thanks for the memory! :D (((hugs))) Laura! Cheers everyone!

Tom do you even have a sn*w shovel?

Ann, Scituate is gorgeous ( wevot married at the lighthouse), but to get there from my house it's all windy roads, rt 123.
I hate the drive in the dark, never mind crappy weather

Holy Crap, Tom!!! That is a lot of sn#w for you in Georgia!!! We are having huge thunderstorms and torrential rains here in North Central Florida. Our power has flickered and the Direct TV keeps going out.
We had stuffed mushrooms and grilled chicken. And perhaps a Pinot Grigio or two.....
The grandson is doing great, what a cute little sweet potato!
