Happy anniversary Pat and Mike. I'm making slow-cooked oven ribs, potato salad and beans. Red wine for me. Regina was moved to rehab today - unfortunately no visitors AT ALL. Hopefully she can get home soon Meeting went okay, I guess. Director has a TNR contract with a local town which pays $$ and is what is keeping us afloat since our major fundraiser was postponed this year. As part of that contract she has to keep a number of kittens and some cats which is where most of our intake has been occurring. We are going to try to recruit more volunteers...everyone wants you to save help them with cats/kittens in yard, but no one wants to volunteer. She also wants to ramp up the adoptions, which makes sense. We'll see. We are scheduled to have a smaller scale fundraiser in a few weeks.

Cheers everyone. Happy Anniversary Pat and Mike! I'm in w/a Fat Tire. Got my tree today. A nice little frasier fir....about 6'.

I'm waiting for my grill to heat up. I'm having a ribeye, broccoli, and garlic bread. If there's room, I'm having a piece of carrot cake for dessert.

Thanks for the anniversary wishes everyone! We had a nice lunch. Went to a local bar afterwards and played a dice game. Mike won the final pot and we just paid it forward. Cheers my friends!

Nice Anniversary pic kids, congratulations on your anniversary, the win and the generosity. I guess Kelly will be giving us a new Xmas tree pic and not just reusing the previous year’s pic ‘cuz it looks the same ‘
Hope you can round up some new volunteers Laura. Hope Regina does well in rehab and has a short stay.
More fish tacos and water here. It was a gorgeous day, driving back from mom’s there where shorts and there were parkas  It drives me nuts when people dress for the calendar date and not the weather.

Strip steak, baked potato, and broccoli with water. Right now I'm having a R&C in honor of Pat's and Mike's anniversary.

Easy dinner tonight, calzones from the local pizza shop.
Happy Anniversary Pat and Mike, love the picture.
Yes Tara Deep Creek is on the other side of the state. It is about 210 miles from us, roughly a 4 hour drive. Will probably take longer because of people on the road for Thanksgiving.

Cheers with the usual Michelob Ultra. Brunch was so filling (and calories) that I brought half home and have just been snacking a little.

Great photo Pat!

Judi, 4 hours is only halfway across the state of Kansas.

Cheers! Starting with a Dirty Bastard ale. Had a pepperjack sausage with kraut, canned chopped spinach as side for late lunch, made some smoky links bbq/jelly tonight all for me tomorrow, I did taste 2 yummy. Never made before and didn't measure anything as per usual. Plan to have 2 White Castle jalapeno sliders for supper after a bit. Got lots sorted in the basement today, putting a "free books" table out by the curb tomorrow afternoon.

Our Saturday night game playing buddies came for dinner.
Sandy served a pork tenderloin...had a mustard-spice rub on it.
She has been buying frozen vegetable chow mein at Sam's. She served some of that with added veggies like snow peas, mushrooms and onions. Water and wine were served with the meal.
Our friend brought dessert...apple cobbler and vanilla ice cream that were served after a couple rounds of cards.
The guys trounced the gals at cards.
Ending the evening with some vodka over ice. I thought I might make it through the SNL opening, but why bother, it is a repeat.
Bon noche!

I too looked up Deep Creek, quite the spot!
I think they will all be repeats now until after the New Year, John.
Tom, they have little free book exchange stands with a glass door at various places here. One lady has one on her property and she has a dog water bowl and a wooden box of sticks for the doggie ‘stick exchange’ by hers. Looks like you had a nice walk.
