Other than the first time we went to Aruba when we took the DePalm bus we have always gotten a taxi from the airport to our hotel. Just wondering how everyone feels about either just waiting in the taxi line for the next car or pre-reserving a taxi to pick you up (such as bully)

We always pre-reserve. That way we can pre-arrange any stops that we want to make along the way. The driver knows this ahead of time and can make his/her schedule accordingly.

We have used Bully in the past, but - as personable as he is - we now just get in line and get the next taxi waiting. It doesn't take any longer, and all the taxi driver's we have driven with are very friendly and informative. We do not make any stops on the way.

We never rent a car,we just grab a cab in line out front of airport, doesn't take long at all. We usually don't make any stops just head right to Playa Linda and go do errands later but any of the taxi's will stop for you, they do charge a waiting fee not sure what that is though.
Way easier than stopping at every hotel/resort along the way in one of the shuttle's.

Yes we do a taxi so we don't have to wait for other people & can get to the beach faster :). Didn't know if there was any advantage to have a pre arranged taxi instead of just the next one in line, as we don't stop anywhere on the way to the hotel I guess the next in line is fine. :)

We have always gotten right in line and within 1 min. are in a taxi heading to our resort. Easy breezy.

For the past several years we have pre-arranged for Bully to pick us up. I find that it actually takes longer than when we used to just get in the taxi line since he parks in the parking lot so it is a longer walk than just getting in line. But having him waiting for us and seeing our friend is nice, plus I ask him to have some cold Balashi for us to have on the ride to the hotel. Those 2 things makes the extra 5 minutes worth it to us.

Just make a left out the terminal door and walk over to the kiosk. Tell the person inside where you are going, he will give you a ticket with the price on it. We have never waited more than about a minute to get into a cab.
